Future of the Beauty Industry Coalition

The Future of the Beauty Industry Coalition, also known as FBIC, and formerly the Beauty Industry Working Group is actively working to suggest the development of consistent standards and recommendations for the professional beauty industry, starting from the education process upwards. This group, comprised of multiple industry associations, ISBN Members and thought leaders focus on standards relating to licensing, education, testing, health and public safety.

FICA Tip Tax - H.R. 1349

The Small Business Tax Fairness and Compliance Simplification Act, known as the FICA Tax Tip Fairness legislation, would extend a dollar-for-dollar tip tax credit to owners of salons, spas and barbershops along with tax compliance updates that would streamline tip reporting and level the playing field for ISBN members.
