Government Relations: BIWG Update

The obstacles for entry and practice in the cosmetology industry range from bad to worse, depending on the state you reside in. Creating consistency across state lines helps our members in many ways and has been a major focus for ISBN in the past couple of years.

Gordon Logan, ISBN Government Relations Advocate, walked members through the phases of the BIWG plan and the latest report that will serve as the basis on recommendations to lawmakers on normalizing hour requirements across states.
