ISBN’s new MUSEMulti-Unit SalonSpa Exchange communications program kicks off officially in 2020, with new content initiatives and access for members and industry partners to connect and share salon business ideas and resources year-round. The new program includes quarterly MUSE Data Reports, twice-a-year editions of MUSE magazine, and a special alliance with SALON TODAY that includes a MUSE spread feature in every issue. (See the debut in the latest edition, the annual SALON TODAY 200, here.)
“MUSE represents the best of what ISBN members tell us they value most about the association and our powerful annual conference experience—the opportunity to think out loud together to exchange solutions and best practices on salon business issues that leaders face,” ISBN Executive Director Valorie Tate says. “MUSE also speaks to what inspires ISBN members and their teams, addressing the trends and artistic passion that drives the heart of salon and spa business, but at the macro strategy level that sets ISBN apart in the industry. Our ongoing goal at ISBN of protecting and elevating our industry is realized through delivering data, trends and strategies that help serve the beauty business and MUSE is the perfect example of this broader purpose.”
V’s Barbershop COO and ISBN Board Member Emily Brown adds, “At this level, the best way to learn is from your peers. ISBN is the place to connect with multi-unit execs, and to mentoring and idea sharing that scales up.”
MUSE will help expand valuable ISBN dialogue and continually connect members and those salon leaders who aspire to grow their salon businesses with each other and with industry leading companies and sponsors. MUSE also aligns with the 2020 ISBN Conference theme and call to action of “Shaping Your Modern Tribe,” which the first issue of MUSE Magazine will showcase.
