“I attend a lot of industry events, and ISBN’s annual Conference quickly became a favorite,” Stenson says. “ISBN takes a very different approach, one that has been very valuable to me and our company. At ISBN, we talk practically about opportunities we have in the industry as well as the threats we face, and how we overcome those together. It’s important for all of us to use our voices to support and continue the grow the beauty industry, and I’m proud to lend mine.”

Stenson joined Ulta Beauty in 2016 as chief artistic director, most recently serving in the role of Vice President for two years and now Senior Vice President of Salon Services and Trend. In addition to oversight of all the salon and service business within the stores, he now has responsibility for Ulta Beauty’s strong boutique business, as well as events.

“Merging all of the services business under one umbrella to include hair, skin, Benefit brow, MAC, Lancôme and Clinique will ensure wow experiences for our guests and incredible career opportunities for beauty professionals,” Stenson explains. “In addition, our events team creates and executes thousands of events in partnership with our brands and stores team throughout the year in every store, truly bringing beauty to life.”
